The House of World Cultures in Berlin presents a delighted choice of electronic music from around the world.

The opener of the festival will be “7 Women No Cry” – seven international female musicians from the label “Monika” of german producer and DJ Gudrun Gut. There can be heard Tusia Beridze from Georgia, Dorit Chrysler from austria, Rosario Bléfari from Argentina, japanese/uk artist Mico, Julia Holter from the US, The Sound of Lucrecia, Columbia and Manekinekod.
Worldtronics further presents artists of four different countries, starting with three acts from New Zealand, selected by the german musician, writer and DJ Hans Nieswandt.
The music director of the House of World Cultures Detlef Diederichsen has invited guests from Pakistan like Faisal Gill, Yousuf and Nazr Sayyad.
Brasil is represented by Siba e a Fuloresta together with Beto Villares and “Babe, Terror”. Here nobody else than the legendary Arto Lindsay has taken the choice. Lindsay is the producer of Caetano Veloso and Marisa Monte.
Last but not least Worldtronics welcomes artists from Rumania: DJ Boola, DJ Praslea and DJ Pedro. They have been digged out by chef-editor of the german “Groove”- magazine for electronic music Heiko Hoffmann.
